After editing properties that open a dialog window and clicking okay, if I click to deselect the object, it draws a marquee box and then allows me to click again to deselect the object.

This is a problem with SmartBuilder's IDE, Eclipse, on OSX. We are waiting on Eclipse to fix this as it would be very difficult for us to address it.
