Hi Leon. You're talking about in the Properties panel? We'll add that to our enhancement backlog.
Here are some features you may or may not already be aware of:
- Blue lines when dragging or resizing objects to help align things.
- Arrow keys to nudge objects 10px.
- Ctrl+Arrows to nudge objects 1px (Cmd+Arrow on Mac?).
- Copy Coordinates and Paste Coordinates (or Paste Size (or Paste Coordinates AND Size)).
- Alignment tools. Alt + A, T to quickly Align Top.
- Alignment > Center Horizontally or Vertically.
- You can add a Line on the Master and set it to Start Visible = False to create your own guidelines.
- Grid is 10px by default, and is used for dragging, resizing, and nudging. It can be adjusted in the Edit > Preferences > Grid menu. It can also be shown or hidden.
- Snap Objects to Objects and Snap Objects to Grid can be turned off in the Edit menu.
- Hold Alt when resizing or dragging to bypass the grid.
- Hold Ctrl when resizing to resize from center.
- Hold Shift while dragging to align to 45 degree angles (mostly just to move things straight up and down or side to side).
- Copy and Paste Format (not really for moving objects, but useful nonetheless.
