Hi,

I've been exporting the translation files to translate the lessons. According to the instructions you have to translate only the last of the table colums in the document which is what I've been doing.
I've noticed that, upon importing this translated text document, some of the text doesn't receive it's translation but remains in the default language. This seems to happen once every 10 or so text objects. Is this a known bug?

The following is an example of what that looks like. Because of ISO regulations the actual text of the lesson has been altered.

I was asked to post this question here so it could be answered publically, so here's my question
The canvas has a vertical ruler/guide showing the page (height) limit with a yellow line. Is it possible to get a horizontal ruler with page (width) limit line as well?
I often have images that overlap both limits and have to keep shifiting the image to see if I'm still within bounds.

Hello Rob,

Sounds good. I was hoping there was a quick fix to avoid clutter on my LMS lesson page. I've found a workaround; using HTML to detect language used and then show the link to the SCORM that I made in that language. So I'm not urgently awaiting the new feature. I wouldn't want my students to have to choose a language at the start of the SCORM as they'll have a lot of different SCORM packages to view during their course. Due to the nature of the course it's not a good idea to put everything in one big SCORM package

and having to choose your language each time can get a little annoying.

Hi Rob,

That would be great, thanks. I was thinking GUI-wise it could be a dropdown item next to the screen size menu.
That way you can quickly switch between versions (after uploading the translation) to see if everything still fits on the pages OK.

We have a course environment where we have students that speak either Dutch, English, German or French. I notice it is possible to set a langauge for a lesson in the Lesson preferences but is there a way to make a lesson include these different languages (all in one SCORM) and have the preferred language of the student appear upon loading the lesson?
Would be a great help if this were possible.

I'm looking to set up a software simulation. I know how to make the basic software simulation where the student clicks on things and enters text before moving to the next layer.

I want to make a software simulation where the student has to drag something (a column header from a data screen) and drop it elsewhere on the screen. Dropping the object in the right location should then move the software simulation to the next layer.

Is this possible and if so; how do I do it?
I thought I saw something similar in a test lesson where you had to help someone connect cables to their laptop?

Hey there,

I have a long piece of text that needs to be read by the student. I would like to have it scroll across the screen a la a Star Wars intro to at least make it somewhat interesting to keep looking at. I see a 'scroller' option but that's only to allow people to scroll manually through a long text object. The different 'Slide to...' options seem to move too fast.

Is there a way to make it scroll slowly?

Hello!

I have a lesson where I want to let students click on the different items in a menu (screenshot). I have made hotspots for each menu item on the screenshot and clicking on each item will display only the text related to that item. I'm sure there's a very handy/smart way to code this other than what I've been doing now which is having each hotspot show one item and hide everything else (see image).

How can I set this up so that I don't have 20 hotspot controls each showing and hiding about 15 different text objects?

Messy Actions Pane

I'm back

This time I'm wondering if there is a way to clean up my Actions pane. It seems like things get stuck there. Deleted objects won't let me remove their control blocks. I saw a tutorial video where the person had a recycle bin they could drag objects in to. No such thing appears on my screen when I grab objects.

What am I doing wrong here?

Ok so here are some screenshots. On mobile I appear to be looking at the bottom left corner of the SCORM.

I have the Scorm set to open in a new window from the LMS screen.
