Hello,
User should be able to slide the audio , play and pause it. Hence we are trying to use the player bar . would like to understand
1. if the user mutes the audio is it possible to for the play button to automatically change to mute button to show muting of the audio. How can this be done?
2. how do we make use of the pause option. There is no pause button. When the play is clicked the audio plays.but how do we get the pause action for the audio? how does the play button become a pause button?
3. How to hide the timeline bar as only play and audio control is needed.
4. Is it possible to have the audio control horizontal instead of vertical slider control?

Also wanted to understand when is the preload option used for audio control?
Any tutorial that you may have created on the past for player bar in the past that answers these questions please do share.

JSON integration : Web object

I am trying to integrate a json file as a web object but facing issues. I tried embedding the json as a web object but it failed so I tried to embed a text file that has the code directly into the file as a text file but while previewing it shows the code again when loaded.
Do you have any tutorial how to embed the json file or the code in the web object or am I doing something wrong here?Attached are the sb file, json file and the code in the text file.

Thanks..I understand stretching the image will distort the image and ruin the aspect ratio. The dimensions used are the standard aspect ratio i.e 1280/720. I do know that if the content page is smaller than the window in the background appears coloured, however in youtube when viewed on the mobile if you pinch out the middle frame it expands and fills the screen. Is this kind of possible now with Smartbuilder that if its pinched out to fill the screen. Currently I tested it out on Android and I didnt see it happening.. so is this something for the future to get developed or am I getting it wrong or do we need to change the dimensions of the page? Customer's LRS is getting developed so there is scope for it to be defined to match the size of the content page. But we are still discussing if this needs to be put on some of the common platforms where we will not have control on the dimensions of the iframe or window page. So in this case do you recommend us to change the dimension of the page? I know for sure the end viewer really dont notice but as a vendor to our customer we still need to give him the best possible experience.

Grey areas in the Window background

Dear Team

Under lesson settings, authoring, Windows Background has a default colour of grey. As a result this grey appears on the side or the bottom on the master template.
The page itself is responsive and the user need not see this grey box on either sides of the page or the bottom of it. Image has been attached.
Any suggestions on how to eliminate the grey layer behind the page. I dont want to add any image or colour in this grey layer.. Only the page should be resized with whatvever is there on the page.Also I noticed any images added in staging doest get resized based on the dimensions of the screen.It doesnt get responsive.So is there a way to make the image in the staging under Authoring also responsive?

Responsive design- Master Template sizing issues

I need to adjust the margin in the master template for responsive designfor Phone, Desktop and Laptop. Since the base image is going to be the same I would like to paste it in the master template and adjust the margin accordingly. The yellow dotted line that appears for adjusting the margin does not move in the master template for different layouts. Is this locked or this is not possible in the master template?

WEb Object not working

One small update.I have been able to grey out the buttons of the DZ and restrict the dropping of more than 1 drag item into it by disabling the DZ

Here are the full set of requirements, I think it's better to put it down all together instead of individual threads on the forum. I have been trying out a lot of different options since the audience are school students the requirements get a little more demanding. Not sure how much of these are possible but would be great if you can suggest few ideas or workarounds given the limitations of the tool.

Drag Zone:
1. When the user click on the drag button the button or cursor to get bigger in size until it is dropped for visual emphasis to the student. Since it's not possible to increase the size of the cursor of the drag option I have changed the pointer cursor to a hand pointer. Now is it possible to increase the size of the drag button when it is being dragged?

2. Drop Zone
a. After the option is dropped is it possible to show the drag option within the drop zone since the student forgets what option he dragged when he sees the feedback. This helps for retention purposes for the student. Can this appear as a smaller text in a corner within the drop zone?

b. I have already limited the drop to 1 per DZ but after the drop is done the colour of the drop zone button should be greyed out indicating that this option has already been exhausted.

c & d are interdependent

c. Even if the student continues to drop a second option on the already used up drop zone , the feedback of the drop zone should not change . Although xapi reports the 1st drop , the feedback options change as per the last drop as this is programmed for last drops. There is no option to report for other drops.

d. Change the feedback option (ticks and crosses) to customized images. As you already stated that this is not possible, I guess individual feedbacks for every questions needs to be created.
Since individual feedbacks are to created would this also resolve issue from c?

Although I have restricted the limit to single drop item on the drag zone so when the user tries to drag more items it is taken back to the earlier position. Since I have shown the ticks and crosses for the last dropped item on the zone the ticks and crosses change. I need the ticks and crosses as per the first dropped item and not the last dropped item on the zone.
There is no option except for the last dragged or last dropped item .Can you please suggest which options can be used so that the ticks and crosses remain as per the first item dropped.

we have used the drag and drop button and the default ticks for the right answer and cross for the wrong answer. To maintain consistency in other quizzes we need to use the same cross and tick mark for the custom questions created. .Is there a way to get the default settings for cross button and tick marks for right and wrong answer of the drag and drop button within smartbuilder settings and how to get them?
