Hi Scott,
There currently aren't any plans for a page transition. Can you tell us more about what you're envisioning? At the very least, there's usually a workaround using Masters. For example, when the next button is clicked, it can:
1. show a shape/image that covers the page,
2. moves to the next page,
3. hides that shape/image to reveal the new page.

Let us know what you've got in mind!

Thanks, Nav.  I was thinking about transitions similar to those you would find in Powerpoint and Google Sheets. 
I'll give your suggestion a try!
